hello , I'm Lindsay . I sew from my home in Brighton and make bags, pouches, laptop sleeves and textile art using repurposed fabrics and reclaimed textiles. I have a particular weakness for denim, linen, vintage needlework, Liberty prints and any fabric with a good story behind it. Like many sewists, I've accumulated more fabric and notions than I could possible use in one lifetime. some pieces were bought with great enthusiasm for a project that never happened, whilst others are leftovers from completed makes. rather than leaving them sitting on a shelf, id much rather see them used by someone else. I enjoy dressmaking, quilting, bag making and textile art, and I believe beautiful materials deserve to be used rather than stored away or sent to landfill. you'll find a mixture of fabrics, patterns, trims and sewing supplies here, alongside the occasional unusual textile that has caught my eye during my treasure hunting.
